Former Executive Council Member of the Ghana Football Association, Wilfred Osei Kweku Palmer has said that there is no justification for keeping Otto Addo as the Black Stars coach.
According to the former Black Stars management committee chairman, coaches have been sacked for less and a coach who failed to qualify for AFCON shouldn’t keep his job.
Palmer while criticizing the decision to maintain Otto Addo said he doesn’t believe he can turn things around.
“We need to do a lot. The team’s technical direction must change,” he said while expressing his thoughts on how to improve the team.
“We dismissed Kwasi Appiah from the Black Stars because he was deemed not good enough. So if Kwasi Appiah, who wasn’t good, was able to teach Otto Addo football lessons, then does it make sense to keep Otto?” he questioned.
Meanwhile Otto Addo is expected to name his Black Stars squad for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in the coming week.
