Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has admitted his side is disappointed with the goalless draw against Asante Kotoko but insists the result isn’t the worst outcome for his team.
The much-anticipated Super Clash at the Accra Sports Stadium ended in a stalemate, with both sides failing to find the breakthrough in a closely fought contest.
Speaking at his post-match press conference, Ouattara said, “We are all disappointed with the results, but we will take it like that. It’s not bad.”
The Hearts boss acknowledged his team had hoped for a win in front of their home fans but chose to focus on the positives, including the clean sheet against a strong Kotoko side.
The result leaves Hearts of Oak 6th on the league table with 46 points after 30 matches, while Asante Kotoko stay in 4th with 51 points.
