Arsenal host Bayern Munich at the Arsenal Stadium in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final.

You read that back, didn’t you? Yes, you did. No, this is not an embarrassing error on our part, this is what UEFA competitions call the home of the Gunners.

Since it opened in 2006, Arsenal has been playing all its matches at the 60,704-capacity stadium.

However, due to little-known, but strict, UEFA rules concerning sponsorship, the Emirates Stadium has to be known as the Arsenal Stadium when the Champions League is in town.
