Asante Kotoko head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum, has expressed his strong rapport with Berekum Chelsea’s head coach, Samuel Boadu.
Speaking ahead of their midweek Ghana Premier League encounter, Ogum praised the former Hearts of Oak manager, describing him as both a skilled tactician and a close friend.
He is an excellent coach and a very good friend. Among the coaches in the local league, he is someone I frequently communicate with. We often exchange calls and maintain a great relationship, Ogum stated.
The much-anticipated Ghana Premier League clash between Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea is set for Wednesday, April 2, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m.
Asante Kotoko, currently second on the league table with 42 points from 23 matches, will be aiming for a win to close in on league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars.
Meanwhile, Berekum Chelsea sits in eighth place with 32 points from 23 games and will be eager to improve their position with a positive result.
