Semenyo scored his 4th goal of the season against City

Semenyo Shines as Bournemouth Stun Man City

Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo delivered a standout performance to help Bournemouth secure a stunning 2-1 victory over Manchester City.

Semenyo shocked the visitors by opening the scoring as early as the 9th minute, marking his fourth league goal of the season.

The early strike from the 24-year-old underscored his impressive form for the Cherries this season.

Manchester City pushed hard for an equalizer, yet Bournemouth’s defense held firm, keeping them scoreless by halftime.

Fifteen minutes into the second half, Evanilson doubled Bournemouth’s lead with his second goal since joining from FC Porto.

The home side nearly increased their lead when they hit the post during a quick counter-attack, narrowly missing a third goal.

Manchester City managed to pull one back through Josko Gvardiol, who headed in a cross from Ilkay Gundogan with just eight minutes left.

However, Gvardiol’s goal proved insufficient as Bournemouth held on to secure a memorable win over the reigning champions.

This result sees City slip from the top of the Premier League table, now overtaken by Liverpool, who triumphed 2-1 over Brighton.
