Vision FC head coach Nana Kwaku Agyemang shared his thoughts with the club’s media team ahead of their Matchweek 27 encounter against Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League.
The league newcomers will host the Phobians at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema New Town on Sunday, April 13. Despite his team’s promising displays, Agyemang believes there is room for improvement.
He emphasized the need to enhance Vision FC’s ability to create and finish scoring opportunities, while also tightening their defense against counter-attacks when possession is lost — a vulnerability due to their aggressive, high-line approach.
I don’t think there is any team in Ghana we’ve faced without creating chances, but we are not taking our chances, Agyemang admitted.
Looking ahead, he stressed the importance of instilling confidence, refining technique, and helping his players stay composed in front of goal. Confident about the upcoming match, he assured that Vision FC would create opportunities against Hearts of Oak, just as they did in their first meeting.
The biggest challenge is converting our chances. If we manage to do that, I believe we can secure all three points, Agyemang concluded.
