Vision FC has begun the Division One Super Cup on positive note, beating Techiman Liberty Youth 2-0 this morning.
After a goalless first half, Vision rode on the strikes of Amadu Adamu and Emmanuel Kyei Baffour in the 52nd and 72nd minutes respectively to secure the win.
The Ewoo Kɛkɛ lads struggled to break the deadlock in the first half but emerged from the tunnel rejuvenated.
Amadu Adamu broke the ice in the 52nd minute, giving Vision FC the lead. The advantage was doubled in the 72nd minute through Emmanuel Kyei Baffour, sealing the victory for the newly promoted side.
The win sets the tone for Vision FC’s remaining games in the competition as they prepare and build momentum ahead of their Premier League debut.
Their next fixture is against fellow promoted side, Baseke Holy Stars in four days time.
