Vision FC picks up a point in first ever Premier League game

Ghana Premier League debutants, Vision FC picked up 1 point in their first ever Ghana’s top-flight football match, drawing goalless with Berekum Chelsea at the Nii Adjei Okraku II Sports Complex.

Vision FC, playing their first ever game in the premiership, dominated much of the game and controlled possession and created a number of decent goal scoring chances but were denied by the brilliant saves of goalkeeper for Chelsea, Obeng Sekyere Gregory.

The visitors were limited to creating minimal chances, hitting only one shot in target.

The fans were there in their numbers to cheer on the Eewo lads but they couldn’t secure a win, one which would have been historic for the club.

Majeed Alidu Labaran was adjudged man of the match for his dazzling and impressive display on the field.

Vision settle for a goalless draw to secure a point in their first game and the performance will be a boost for Coach Nana Kweku Agyemang and his charges as they embark and make their own history in their maiden campaign in the Ghana Premier League.

They’ll travel to take on Accra Lions on Matchday 2 at the Accra Sports Stadium next weekend.
