Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has assured fans that his team is physically and tactically prepared for their Ghana Premier League return against Legon Cities on Sunday, March 9.

The Porcupine Warriors, who last played in a 1-0 defeat to Nsoatreman FC, have been out of action due to the league’s suspension. That match was overshadowed by the tragic stabbing of a Kotoko supporter, Yaw Frimpong.

Speaking ahead of their Matchday 23 clash at the Baba Yara Stadium, Ogum acknowledged the challenge of facing Legon Cities, who handed Kotoko their first defeat of the season.

We are going into the game with a very confident and determined approach because they were the very first team that defeated us in the first round. Ogum stated

The coach emphasized that his players are in top form.

Tactically, we have done a lot to make sure that on Sunday, we play strongly and very aggressively to make sure we get the three points. Physically, we are in good shape and tactically, we are in good shape, so we are ready.

The match is set to kick off at 3:00 PM GMT at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as Kotoko looks to bounce back from recent setbacks.
