The Business Africa Consulting Group (BAC Group) team together with Benchmark Marketing, has landed in the Northern region’s capital to engage principal stakeholders ahead of the BAC Group’s annual flagship event, the All Star Festival.
This engagement with the stakeholders will span a period of three days (from Friday, 12th April to Monday, 15th April) to put things in order and assess preparations ahead of the All Star Festival 2024 which comes off in June.
“This visit to Tamale underscores our commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships and ensuring the success of the All Star Festival,” remarked Dr. Ernest Koranteng, Chief Executive of the BAC Group.
As part of the activities, the team will meet with the Dean and Head of the Sports Directorate at University of Development Studies (UDS) on Friday, 12th April, to discuss how they can mobilize the students to partake in the festival.
During the 3-day working visit, the BAC Group team will also hold meetings with Hon. Haruna Iddrisu, who is the Member of Parliament (MP) for Tamale South Constituency and other MPs in Tamale.
Other activities of the team’s visit to Tamale will include inspection of the Alui Mahama Stadium to assess the progress of work done to get the pitch in shape to host the All Star game.
There’ll also be media tour to Bishara Fm, Asaase Radio Tamale, and Gbangu Fm, to further propagate news about the All Star Festival.
The team will also brief and be briefed by the Local Organizing Team (LOT) on how far preparations towards the event have gone.
New to this year’s event is the introduction of the community gala, whose final will serve as a curtain raiser for the main football event during the All Star Festival.
The Chief Executive highlighted the need for collaboration to ensure a successful organization of the All Star Festival upon arrival at Tamale.

Sixteen communities are scheduled to partake in the gala which serves as a platform to unearth talents and to bring them to the limelight.
The visit of the BAC Group team is also to address issues relating to the gala, including the format, draw (balloting), and prizes for the performing communities and outstanding individuals.
The team will depart Tamale to Accra on Monday, 15th April to continue preparation ahead of the launch of the All Star Festival 2024 later in May.
