Vision FC Strengthens Squad with Issah Akuka Signing
Vision FC have bolstered attacking options with the acquisition of young striker, Issah Akuka Issifu.
The 22-year-old joins the Ewoo family on a permanent deal from Accra Hearts of Oak.
Akuka spent the 2021/2022 and 2022/23 seasons on loan at Real Tamale United, where he showcased his talent by scoring fourteen goals across the two seasons.
His impressive performances earned him a move to Macedonian side, FC Skhupi, later in 2023 on yet another loan.
Upon his return to Hearts of Oak, Akuka found limited playing time. The forward is now looking forward to a fresh start at Vision FC.
“I’m excited to be part of the Vision FC family on a permanent basis,” Akuka said.
“I believe this is the right place for me to continue my development.”
Our head coach, Nana Kweku Agyemang, expressed his delight at securing the services of the young striker. “Akuka is a talented player with a bright future. He fits the profile of the type of forward we are looking for, and we believe he will be a valuable asset to the team,” he said.
The acquisition of Akuka is a further indication of our ambition to compete at the highest level in the Ghana Premier League.
