Ghanaian football giant, Asante Kotoko has announced the appointment of Samuel Sarfo Duku Esq. as the new Head of Public Relations.
Sarfo Duku, a seasoned legal practitioner and communication expert, previously served as the club’s Administrative Manager and Head of Legal Affairs before resigning in 2019 to pursue other interests.
In a statement released by the club, Kotoko expressed confidence in Duku’s ability to enhance their communication efforts, citing his deep understanding of the club’s culture, values, legal acumen, and vision.
The club emphasized that this appointment reinforces their commitment to clarity and transparency in all engagements.
This development comes at a time when Asante Kotoko has suspended all senior team football activities following the tragic death of their supporter, Francis Yaw Frimpong, also known as Nana Pooley, during a match against Nsoatreman FC.
The club has stated that they will not resume footballing duties until justice is served and measures are taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
