The Ghana Premier League title race is heating up, with just one point separating the top three teams. With Matchday 21 set to kickoff, all eyes are on the mid-week fixtures that could shape the standings.
In a much-anticipated return, Hearts of Oak will play at the Accra Sports Stadium for the first time since September 2024, against Nations FC on Wednesday, April 2. The Phobians last match at this venue was a disappointing 1-0 defeat to newly promoted Basake Holy Stars in the season opener.
Meanwhile, second-placed Bibiani Gold Stars will host Heart of Lions at Dun’s Park on Tuesday, April 1, aiming to close in on league leaders Asante Kotoko. On the same day, Medeama will battle Basake Holy Stars at the TnA Stadium.
Wednesday, April 2, will see a Bono Derby as Young Apostles visit Aduana Stars at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Stadium. Asante Kotoko will also be in action, taking on Berekum Chelsea at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Elsewhere, Dreams FC will clash with Bechem United at the Tuba Astro Turf, while struggling Vision FC hosts FC Samartex at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema New Town. Karela United will also welcome bottom-placed Legon Cities to the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium.
With crucial points up for grabs, these matches could be decisive in the title race.
