Ghana begins its 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign against Angola on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

In the last AFCON qualifiers, Ghana won 1-0 at home against Angola and drew 1-1 in the return leg.

Their qualifying record for the last AFCON included two wins, three draws, and one defeat. Angola hopes to improve their performance in a group that also features Niger and Sudan.
