Asante Kotoko’s head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has reaffirmed his determination to lead the team to victory in the MTN FA Cup this season. He emphasized that winning the prestigious trophy is a shared ambition among both players and technical staff in the ongoing 2024/25 campaign.
The goal of every coach is to win trophies. That is the same for every player—they want to be remembered for their achievements. For us, it’s about taking it one game at a time. We are in the semi-finals and will face Berekum Chelsea, Dr. Ogum stated.
He made these remarks during a press conference following Kotoko’s hard-fought 2-1 victory over True Democracy on Sunday, a win that secured their place in the semi-finals of the competition.
While maintaining his ambition to lift the FA Cup, Dr. Ogum stressed that the team remains focused on their upcoming fixtures in the Ghana Premier League. He assured fans that the squad will continue to work hard in pursuit of all available silverware this season.
