Asante Kotoko have climbed to the top of the Ghana Premier League table after securing a 2-0 victory over Legon Cities at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Goals from P. Aseidu in the 27th minute and K. Opoku in the 87th minute ensured all three points for the Porcupine Warriors.
With this win, Kotoko now sits at the summit of the table with 37 points, level with Bibiani Gold Stars but ahead on goal difference. Hearts of Oak trail closely behind in third place with 36 points, keeping the title race highly competitive.
