Chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee, Dr. Randy Abbey, has reaffirmed the national team’s commitment to making Ghanaians proud following their failure to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco.
Speaking in an interview on Original FM, Dr. Abbey highlighted the players’ determination to redeem themselves after their disappointing AFCON qualifying campaign.
The Black Stars players were resolved to make Ghanaians proud after their disappointing performance in the AFCON qualifiers,” he stated.
His comments come after the team’s impressive performances in the ongoing World Cup qualifiers, where they secured important victories against Chad and Madagascar. He emphasized that the players are focused on delivering positive results and regaining the trust of Ghanaians.
Dr. Abbey also addressed the issue of player remuneration, confirming that the squad would soon receive their outstanding bonuses.
The team (Black Stars) will receive their winning bonuses by the close of the week,” he assured.
