Dreams FC have officially confirmed the signing of former Asante Kotoko forward Osman Ibrahim, who has been out of competitive football for an extended period.
In an announcement on their official Facebook page, the club stated:
“Dreams FC is pleased to announce the signing of Osman Ibrahim on a free transfer. The striker joins us from Asante Kotoko. We’re excited to welcome Osman Ibrahim to the Still Believe family and look forward to seeing him in action.”
The 25-year-old, who has been sidelined for nearly two years due to an anterior cruciate ligament injury, is now fully recovered and eager to make his mark in the new campaign.
Known for his height and attacking prowess, Ibrahim comes highly recommended and is expected to bolster Dreams FC’s offensive capabilities as they aim to strengthen their squad for the second half of the season.
Ibrahim first rose to prominence in 2018 after joining Asante Kotoko from lower-tier side Asokwa Deportivo. Despite his potential, he struggled to secure a regular spot in the team, spending loan spells at King Faisal FC and Liberty Professionals.
During his second stint at King Faisal in the 2021/22 season, he scored nine goals and provided two assists in all competition.
