FIFA Confirm Dates for Black Stars’ Crucial World Cup Qualifiers Against Chad and Mali
Ghana’s Black Stars will resume their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign in September 2025 with two decisive fixtures confirmed by FIFA.
The first clash will see Otto Addo’s side travel to N’Djamena for an away encounter with Chad at the Stade Olympique Maréchal Idriss Déby Itno on Thursday, September 4, kicking off at 13:00 GMT.
Four days later, the Black Stars will return to the Accra Sports Stadium to host Mali under the lights on Monday, September 8, with kick-off set for 19:00 GMT.
Ghana currently leads Group I with 15 points from six matches, holding a narrow lead over Comoros and maintaining strong momentum in their quest for a spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup to be hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico.
The group winner will earn automatic qualification when the final round wraps up in October 2025.
