The Ghana Football Association has released the full fixture list for the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season, offering an exciting roadmap for fans ahead of the new campaign.
Defending champions Gold Stars FC will launch their title defence at home against Bechem United in Bibiani. Accra Hearts of Oak open against newcomers Hohoe United, while arch-rivals Asante Kotoko begin their season away to Berekum Chelsea.
Newly promoted Swedru All Blacks and Eleven Wonders will start their return to top-flight action with away fixtures against Nations FC and Basake Holy Stars, respectively. Last season’s runners-up Heart of Lions will host Dreams FC, and Karela United will clash with Aduana FC in their opening matches.
The first leg of the iconic Hearts vs. Kotoko rivalry is set for Match Day 5 in Accra, with the return fixture on Match Day 22 in Kumasi.
Regional rivalries in the Brong Ahafo region will light up the calendar, with key clashes involving Young Apostles, Bechem United, Aduana FC, Berekum Chelsea, and Eleven Wonders scheduled across the season.
The season kicks off the weekend of September 12, 2025, and concludes on May 23/24, 2026, in alignment with the 2026 FIFA World Cup calendar. As in the previous season, matches will be played on weekends, with midweek slots reserved for outstanding fixtures.
