Ghana winger Osman Bukari made his debut for Austin FC in their 2-2 draw against Charlotte FC in the Major League Soccer on Saturday night.
The attacker joined Austin FC from Serbian side, Red Star Belgrade in June but had to wait until yesterday to play his first game for his new club.
On his debut, Bukari made the start list but played only 57 minutes as he made way for Owen Wolff.
Austin FC took an early lead in the 11th minute through Alexander Ring but Karol Swiderski drew parity for Charlotte 22 minutes later.
Just 11 minutes after the break, Iuri Tavares gave Charlotte the lead.
Jon Gallagher notched the equalizer for Austin 10 minutes from regulation time to tie the game at 2-2 and the points shared.
Bukari’s Austin FC has amassed 31 points so far and lies 10th on the Western Conference league table in the MLS.
