Ghanaian goalkeeper, Eric Ofori Antwi ‘Alawa’, has officially announced his departure from Ghana Premier League giants, Accra Hearts of Oak after reaching a mutual agreement with the club.
In a heartfelt statement on social media, Antwi expressed his gratitude to the club, fans, teammates, and the entire Phobia family for their unwavering support throughout his time with the team.
After mutual discussions, my journey with Hearts of Oak has come to an end. It has been an absolute honor to wear the jersey of one of the biggest clubs in Ghana.

Antwi, who joined Hearts of Oak from Legon Cities in 2022, to bolster their goalkeeping department, departs after a period marked by dedication and resilience.
Although injuries, including a recent knee surgery, have affected his time at the club, but he remains optimistic about his recovery and looks forward to the next chapter in his career.
During his tenure with Hearts of Oak, he made 15 appearances, keeping 5 clean sheets and earning 4 MVP awards.
The former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper has represented Ghana at various levels, including the U-20, U-23, Black Galaxies, and the senior national team, the Black Stars.
