Golden Kick FC have booked their place in the final of the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup after a convincing 3-1 win against Attram De Visser in the semi-final clash at the T&A Stadium in Tarkwa.
An early own goal by Dawuud Ishaque gave Golden Kick the perfect start in the 16th minute, and just six minutes later, David Amuzu doubled their lead with a well-taken finish after a flowing team move.
Golden Kick dominated the first half and resumed after the break with the same intensity. It took them only two minutes into the second half to extend their advantage, as Bless Ege calmly slotted home the third goal in the 47th minute to put the game beyond Attram De Visser’s reach.
Attram De Visser managed to pull one back through Precious Yaw Gyimah with three minutes remaining, but it proved too little, too late to spark a comeback.
Both Golden Kick and Attram De Visser had impressed in their run to the semi-finals, knocking out heavyweights including record holders Hearts of Oak along the way.
Golden Kick will now await the winner of the other semi-final between Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea to determine their opponent for the FA Cup final.
