GPL NASCO Coach of the Month: November Nominees Announced
The race for the prestigious NASCO Ghana Premier League Coach of the Month award for November is on, with four tacticians earning nominations for their outstanding achievements.
The nominees—Aboubakar Ouattara, Bashir Hayford, Kwaku Danso, and Kassim Mingle Ocansey—each guided their teams to remarkable performances during the month.
Aboubakar Ouattara of Hearts of Oak led his team through an unbeaten November, securing three wins and a draw. His side scored five goals while conceding just once, moving Hearts of Oak to seventh place on the league table.
Bashir Hayford of Kpando Heart of Lions also maintained an impressive unbeaten run, achieving three victories and a draw. Under his leadership, the Lions scored five goals and, notably, kept a perfect defensive record with clean sheets in all four matches.
Bechem United’s Kwaku Danso delivered consistent results, overseeing three wins and a draw for his team. Bechem found the back of the net six times while conceding three goals, demonstrating a balance of attacking prowess and resilience.
Kassim Mingle Ocansey of Nations FC rounded off the nominees with an exciting month. His side scored six goals across four games, conceding just one. Nations FC’s record of three wins and one loss saw them finish November as the league’s second-best team.
The winner of the NASCO Coach of the Month award will receive a 43-inch NASCO Television courtesy of Electroland Ghana Limited.
