Accra Hearts of Oak SC and their head coach, Aboubakar Ouattara, have been charged by the Ghana Football Association for breaching league regulations following their recent Ghana Premier League match against Dreams FC.
According to the GFA, Hearts of Oak violated Article 38(8)(a) of the Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2019, by failing to present their coach at the mandatory post-match press conference.
Additionally, Ouattara Aboubakar faces an individual charge under Article 34(6)(d) for allegedly refusing to attend the press conference, an act deemed as misconduct that damages the reputation of the game.
Both the club and the coach have been given until Tuesday, March 18, 2025, to respond to the charges.
The phobians unfortunately lost the match at home by 0:1 to Dreams FC.
