Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a deal to sign Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus from West Ham United for a reported fee of £55 million, according to reports from transfer insider David Ornstein.

The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has given the green light for the move after making it clear he only wanted to join Spurs despite interest from other top European clubs.

Kudus is expected to sign a six-year contract with Tottenham, keeping him at the club until 2031. Medical tests are scheduled for Thursday in London, after which the deal will be officially completed.

The move represents a major coup for Tottenham, with manager Ange Postecoglou keen on strengthening his squad ahead of the 2025/26 Premier League season.

Kudus enjoyed an impressive debut campaign with West Ham after joining from Ajax in 2023, quickly becoming one of the Premier League’s most exciting attacking talents.

The Ghana international’s versatility, capable of playing as an attacking midfielder, winger, or false nine  is seen as a perfect fit for new Thomas Frank’s dynamic style of play.

Kudus’ move to North London is expected to be announced officially before the weekend.
