Attram De Visser made history by reaching the semi-finals of the MTN FA Cup for the first time, following a dramatic 4-3 penalty shootout victory over PAC Academy at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The match ended 1-1 after regulation time, with Evans Sarfo converting a penalty in the 63rd minute to give PAC Academy the lead.However, Attram De Visser fought back and found a late equalizer in stoppage time (90+3) through Gabriel Matumassey, forcing the game into a penalty shootout.

Attram De Visser held their nerve and emerged victorious, securing their place in the last four of the competition.

In the other quarter-final match, Berekum Chelsea booked their semi-final spot with a narrow 1-0 win over Bechem United. Stephen Amankona’s decisive goal in the 30th minute proved to be the difference, as Chelsea successfully defended their lead to progress in the prestigious competition.

With two teams already through to the semi-finals, attention now shifts to the remaining quarter-final fixtures scheduled for Sunday, March 30, 2025, at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium. Karela United will face Golden Kick FC at 3:00 PM, while Asante Kotoko will battle True Democracy at 7:00 PM.

These matches will determine the final two semi-finalists as the road to FA Cup glory continues.
