Ghana’s U20 team, the Black Satellites, have been placed in a challenging group ahead of the U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast this April.
They will compete in Group A alongside the host nation Ivory Coast, Tanzania, and DR Congo, with an additional team from UNIFFAC 2 set to join. This marks Ghana’s return to the tournament for the first time since 2021, when they emerged as champions.
Group B features strong contenders, including Nigeria, Morocco, Egypt, and South Africa. Meanwhile, defending champions Senegal will compete in Group C alongside Zambia, Kenya, and Sierra Leone.
The tournament is scheduled to take place from April 26 to May 16, 2025, with the top two teams securing qualification for the U20 World Cup.
