Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has voiced his disappointment over his team’s recent dip in form ahead of their crucial Ghana Premier League fixture against Nations FC this weekend.
Speaking in a pre-match interview with the club’s media team, Coach Ogum did not mince words about his dissatisfaction with the performances and results in recent games.
I’m not happy at all about the kind of performance we put up over a few games and the result we have gotten out of those games. It is not typical of us, he said.
Even where we peaked up to, our performance and where we got to and the results that we were getting, we least expected a sudden turnaround or turnover in terms of performance and results. I’m not happy at all. I’m disappointed.
The Porcupine Warriors are set to face Nations FC on Sunday, April 20, at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex in what is expected to be a highly competitive fixture.
Kotoko will be looking to bounce back after a string of underwhelming results. They suffered a heavy 3-0 defeat to Accra Lions in their last outing and had previously drawn 1-1 with Bechem United.
