2026 All Star Festival Scheduled for July
The fifth edition of the All Star Festival (ASF), Africa’s official off-season football gathering, is set to take place in July 2026, following the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup, slightly switching away from the traditional June window.

After four successful editions from 2022 to 2025, organizers, The Business Africa Consulting Group (The BAC Group), have officially commenced preparations for what promises to be another exciting experience and an improved event.
As part of the build-up, the Chief Executive of the BAC Group, Dr. Ernest Koranteng, alongside some consulting partners, has embarked on a global engagement tour. The initiative is aimed at securing participation from top Ghanaian and international football stars across the globe.

The delegation recently visited Black Stars forwards, Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu Issahaku at their club base, Leicester City, in England. Both players have been consistent figures in previous editions of the festival.

Speaking on preparations and expectations for ASF 2026, Dr. Koranteng emphasized the event’s continued evolution.
“One word, growth. We have been working towards expanding the All Star Festival brand, and for the 2026 edition scheduled for July, we are committed to delivering an improved experience compared to previous years,” he said.
Reflecting on the journey so far, he acknowledged the complexities involved in organizing the event.
“Delivering a capital-intensive event like the All Star Festival is never straightforward. Across the four editions, the challenges have remained consistent, though they vary in form and scale. Securing commitments from active players during their short off-season breaks has been a major hurdle. Financing, event execution, and post-event satisfaction are also key considerations. Despite this, we remain committed to growing this unique franchise.”
ASF 2026 will feature a range of activities over two days, culminating in the traditional exhibition football match involving international stars.
Since the All Star festival debuted in 2022 in Accra, it has since been held in Dormaa (2023), Tamale (2024) and back to Accra (2025).
The actual dates and venue for this year’s edition will be communicated in due course.
Planned activities include the Sports Business Series seminar, a youth football clinic with participating players, and interactive fan engagement sessions such as photo and autograph opportunities. Additional attractions will include exhibition matches involving media personalities, entertainers, and university teams, as well as a dedicated kids’ play area.
The festival will also incorporate lifestyle elements such as a luxury car showcase and on-site car detailing services, further broadening its appeal.
The 2026 edition will focus on delivering a more coordinated and immersive experience for fans, stakeholders, and participants, reinforcing the All Star Festival’s position as a flagship event on Africa’s football calendar.
Expect an experience that has never happened in the history of the All Star Festival because this year’s edition will be massive and cannot be missed for any reason.
