John Paintsil Lauds Black Queens’ Unity and Potential
Black Stars assistant coach John Paintsil has heaped praise on the Black Queens, highlighting their strong team spirit and promising future in African football.
Speaking to Adom FM Sports, Paintsil commended the women’s national team after their recent Women African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) performance, stressing the importance of continued investment and support.
One thing I saw about them was the unity, which was very good. These girls need support, and I believe going forward, they will conquer Africa, he said.
The former Ghana international also pointed out the squad’s individual talent, adding:
If they are kept, they will deliver.
His remarks come amid growing calls for increased support for women’s football in Ghana, following the Black Queens’ bronze medal finish at the 2024 WAFCON.
