National Teams Ambassador Asamoah Gyan has delivered a message of encouragement to the Black Princesses following the team’s exit from the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, urging the players to treat the disappointment as fuel rather than a full stop.
Speaking to the squad after their elimination, the former Black Stars captain acknowledged that the outcome fell short of what the team had hoped for, but insisted the result should not define how the players see themselves or their futures in the game.

He was emphatic that the players’ performances throughout the tournament had already answered any doubts about their quality, even though the result did not go their way.
