League leaders, Aduana FC, face one of their toughest assignments yet, as they travel to Dun’s Park to meet the reigning Ghana Premier League champions, Bibiani Gold Stars on Sunday in a Matchday 12 encounter.

It is a clash between last season’s league winners and the side attempting to unseat them, and while Aduana FC hold the advantage going into the weekend, they know that any result achieved at this stage of the season carries only limited weight with many matches to play in the league to come .

GoldStars, however, enters Sunday’s match seeking a strong comeback after their defeat to Nations Fc last weekend . Despite the setback, they continue to strive and show strong defensive strength at home, keeping three consecutive clean sheets at Dun’s Park. That solidity gives them hopes of turning things back into their favour against an opponent they know well .

The Fire Boys meanwhile, arrive in strong form. Their 3-1 victory over Berekum Chelsea last weekend extended their unbeaten run which has carried them to the top of the table . Consistency, they say is key and this has been a team that has shown it across the pitch and they look to extend that tone against a side that tends to perform at their home grounds.

In the current campaign, GoldStars have six wins, one draw and four defeats from eleven matches, scoring 11 goals and conceding 13. Aduana’s record stands at seven wins, two draws and two losses with 13 goals to their credit and six conceded.

Both sides have shown strong spells across the year, setting up what should be a demanding and closely contested encounter in Bibiani come Sunday.
