On Saturday in the English Championship, Ghanaian winger, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku scored a goal, striking the ball from his own half and that has got the football world talking.

The strike was Leicester City’s second on the afternoon in a game that saw them won 3-1 against Ipswich Town.

His 65-yard strike is the longest shot taken to score a goal in the Championship since Opta started gathering data.
