Lamin N. Jammeh to Officiate Niger vs Ghana 2025 AFCON Qualifier in Morocco

Lamin N. Jammeh from The Gambia has been appointed as the center referee for the crucial 2025 TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier between Niger and Ghana.

The match, set to take place on Monday, September 9, 2024, will kick off at 16:00 local time at the Stade Municipal de Berkane in Morocco.

Jammeh, a seasoned referee with extensive experience officiating high-stakes matches across the continent, will be assisted by a team of compatriots. Abdul Aziz Bollel Jawo will serve as Assistant Referee I, while Omar Darboe takes on the role of Assistant Referee II. Baboucarr Alhasan Bass will be the Fourth Official, completing the all-Gambian officiating team for this important fixture.

In addition to the Gambian officials, Moussa Dahani from Burkina Faso has been designated as the Match Commissioner, ensuring that the game is conducted according to the highest standards of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).

Luis Manuel Carvalho Semedo from Cape Verde will serve as the Referee Assessor, providing oversight and evaluation of the refereeing performance.
