The Ghanaian teen sensation has sealed a move to the Spanish La Liga outfit in the ongoing summer transfer window.

Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have announced the transfer of their young winger Bernard Somuah to Spanish side Celta Vigo on a season-long loan deal.

The 18-year-old, who arrived at the Porcupine Warriors last season, has been captured by the Estadio Municipal de Balaídos outfit on a season-long loan deal with an option to buy the budding talented winger on permanent basis.

The club’s official statement reads “Asante Kotoko SC is pleased to announce the loan transfer of our talented winger, Bernard Sarpong Somuah, to Spanish La Liga side, Celta Vigo, for the upcoming season.”

“The agreement includes an option for Celta Vigo to make the deal permanent at the end of the loan period.”

Somuah made a great and positive impression at Asante Kotoko in his debut season having earned himself an invitation to the Ghana U-20 national team ahead of the WAFU U20 Cup of Nations tournament.

Before joining the Porcupine Warriors, the sensational wideman had an impressive record of 22 goals for Afigya Liberty in the lower-tier league.

Somuah will begin his career at the Celta Vigo B as part of his developmental process in Spain.

Celta Vigo already have Black Stars defender Joseph Aidoo in their fold.
