The Ghana Boxing Interim Management Committee (GBIMC) has officially announced the approved filing fees for elective positions ahead of the Ghana Boxing Authority’s (GBA) 2026 Elective Extraordinary Congress. The congress is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 4th June 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at the Accra Sports Stadium, an election that will determine the new leadership Ghana Boxing Authority.
The announcement, issued on 13th May 2026 by GBIMC Chairman Samir Captan, follows an earlier notice dated 11th May 2026 and provides comprehensive guidance to all aspiring candidates on the financial and procedural requirements for contesting the elections.
Filing Fees by Position
The GBIMC has outlined a structured fee schedule corresponding to each contested position on the GBA Executive Board. Aspirants seeking the top office of President are required to pay the highest filing fee, reflecting the seniority and responsibility of the role.
All aspirants are required to settle the full filing fee on or before the day of submitting their completed nomination forms, and strictly within the designated filing period. Payments made outside this window will not be accepted.
Candidate and Delegate Forms
Nomination forms are available for purchase at a cost of GHC500 each. Forms will be distributed from the Accra Sports Stadium between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily from Thursday, 14th May through to Monday, 18th May 2026, excluding the weekend.

In addition to candidate forms, Association Heads or duly mandated Executives who are presenting delegates to the congress may also procure Delegate Forms during the same distribution window at the Accra Sports Stadium. Both form types are available concurrently to allow associations to coordinate their participation efficiently.
Detailed instructions for candidates, as well as the full modalities governing the election process, will be clearly outlined within the official forms upon collection.
