Former chairman of the Ghana premier League clubs Association (GHALCA) Kudjoe Fianoo has described the buses given to some division one clubs by the Ghana Premier League as scraps.
In an interview with Asempa FM’s Dennis Asamoah Alatula on the Ultimate Sports show this morning, Mr. Fianoo expressed his concerns about the poor condition of the buses.
“I had the opportunity to inspect two of the buses up close, and I can confidently say they are scraps,” he stated.
The Ghana Football Association distributed nine buses to the top three clubs from each zone.
However, Mr. Fianoo pointed out that, as of yesterday, he saw Okwahu United’s bus parked in front of the GHALCA offices, in a severely deteriorated condition.
He further claimed that the buses are not licensed and lack the necessary legal documentation for transportation.
