The National Chapters Committee (N.C.C.) of Accra Hearts of Oak has officially responded to the club’s decision to part ways with Head Coach Didi Dramani.
In a statement released, the N.C.C. acknowledged that it was informed on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, by the Board and Management of the club of their decision to end the coach’s tenure. While the statement conceded that many within the supporters’ community held Coach Dramani in high regard and would have preferred a different outcome, the Committee nonetheless affirmed its respect for the authority of the Board and Management, whom it described as entrusted with the responsibility of running the affairs of the club.
At this important moment in the journey of our beloved Hearts of Oak, we believe unity, stability, and collective support are essential for the progress of the club,” the statement read.
The N.C.C. accordingly assured the Board and Management of its continued commitment and unwavering support as efforts continue to restore the club to the level of excellence and dominance desired by every Phobian.
The Committee, however, made a respectful appeal that going forward, the supporters’ leadership be given the opportunity to share their views and concerns on major technical decisions affecting the club before final decisions are taken. According to the N.C.C., greater engagement and consultation with supporters will strengthen unity and deepen the shared vision for the future of Hearts of Oak.
The supporters front reaffirm their loyalty and dedication to the club, pledging full support to the Board led by His Royal Highness Togbe Afede XIV in the collective effort to return Hearts of Oak to its rightful place.
