Ahead of Fenerbahçe’s highly anticipated Süper Lig derby against Galatasaray in Week 14, the club welcomed a number of its most legends, each celebrated for their contributions to the club legacy.
The visit commenced with a tour of the Fenerbahçe Museum, after which the former players met hundreds of dedicated supporters awaiting them at the Fenerium Maraton store.
There, they signed jerseys and participated in commemorative photographs with fans.

During his time at Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium, Stephen Appiah also signed several of the club’s iconic striped jerseys, as well as the “Love and Animals 1907 Series” artwork.

This special piece was gifted to Fenerbahçe by the renowned painter Aslı Sayan and is destined for auction, with all proceeds to be donated to the club.

The storied corridors of Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium and the Fenerbahçe Museum recently served as the setting for a heartfelt homecoming, as former captain and midfield icon Stephen Appiah returned to the club where he secured his legendary status.

The former Black Stars captain, whose name continues to evoke profound passion among the Sarı Kanaryalar (Yellow Canaries) faithful, was received with deep affection in a gathering that connected generations and honored his enduring legacy. He stood alongside iconic figures such as legendary goalkeeper Rüştü Reçber, the dynamic Tuncay Şanlı, steadfast defender Gökhan Gönül, and prolific goalscorer Elvir Bolić.

Together, they explored the Fenerbahçe Museum, a sanctuary of the club’s heritage, pausing to reflect before the trophies and historic photographs that immortalize the very moments they helped define.
