Aduana FC focused on league and FA Cup ambitions – Agyemang-Badu

Aduana FC International Relations Manager Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu says the club remains optimistic about its chances in both the league and cup competitions as the season approaches its defining stage.

The former Black Stars midfielder believes Aduana are still firmly in contention for honours, insisting the team is competing on two fronts with the league title race still open.

“We are still in the league. We are vying for two things now, and we are also playing in the FA Cup quarter-finals,” Agyemang-Badu said.

Aduana currently sit third on the league table and trail leaders Medeama SC by five points with nine matches remaining.

According to Agyemang-Badu, the gap is not insurmountable, especially with 27 points still available.

“In the league, we are third on the log, and Medeama are leading us by five points with nine matches to go. With 27 points to play for, anything can happen. We are concentrating on taking it match after match,” he explained.

The Dormaa-based club is also preparing for an important clash in the MTN FA Cup where they will face Techiman Liberty Youth in the quarter-finals for a place in the last four.

Agyemang-Badu noted that the team remains calm and focused as they push to end the season strongly.

“We are preparing for the FA Cup and we will see what will happen. It will bring happiness if, after the season, we can finish in a respectable position for Nana Agyemang Badu, but we are calm and taking it game after game,” he added.

Aduana will be hoping to maintain their push in both competitions as they seek silverware and a strong finish to the campaign.
