The 2025 Boxinghana Awards ceremony was held on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at the Idrowhyte Events Center at Dansoman. The event honored the outstanding contributors to the sport of boxing in Ghana over the past year.
The awards were formally presented by the Member of Parliament for Odododiodoo, Honourable Alfred Kotey Ashie, alongside sports personality Ekow Asmah. The ceremony was attended by key figures from the boxing community.
Several individuals and organizations were recognized for their exceptional work. Theophilus Allotey received the award for Best Professional Boxer, highlighting his achievements in the ring.
In other categories, Augustus Dodoo was named Best Match Maker for his role in organizing compelling fights, while Joseph Martey was honored as Coach of the Year for his dedication to developing talent.
The promotional efforts behind the sport were also celebrated. Legacy Rise Promotions took home the award for Best Promoter.
Finally, the vital support of the fans was acknowledged, with Kapon winning the award for Best Boxing Fan.
The evening served as a formal celebration of the hard work and passion that drives Ghanaian boxing forward, uniting promoters, boxers, coaches, and supporters.
