Head coach of Ghana’s U-20 national team, the Black Satellites, Desmond Ofei, has assured fans of an exciting and disciplined performance as his side prepares to begin their campaign at the 2025 CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Speaking to CAFOnline ahead of Ghana’s opening Group C match against DR Congo on Friday, May 2, Coach Ofei said the team is ready to showcase a bold and intelligent style of play that reflects the identity they have built over months of preparation.

Ghana has a proud history in youth football, having won the U-20 AFCON on three occasions and becoming the first African country to win the FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2009.
