The Brazilian National Team officially launched its new second uniform on Thursday in São Paulo, marking the start of a partnership with Jordan Brand. For the first time, the famous Jumpman logo will appear on a Brazilian national team jersey.

The new kit brings together two major forces in sports. Designed to stand out immediately, the uniform uses top-level Aero-FIT technology. According to the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), the goal was to create a jersey that reflects the strength and legacy of both brands.

The uniform will make its first appearance on the field during a friendly match against France. The game is set for March 26th at Gillette Stadium in Boston, United States, with kickoff at 5 PM Brasilia time.

A Design Inspired by Brazil

The look of the new jersey combines the traditional colors of Brazilian soccer with a classic element from Jordan Brand history. The kit features the familiar yellow and blue associated with the national team. It also includes the brand’s well-known “Elephant Print,” a pattern first introduced by designer Tinker Hatfield on the Air Jordan 3 in 1988.

According to the release, the design takes inspiration from the colors and patterns of Brazil’s fastest predators. The goal was to create a unique style on the field that connects the cultures of both brands.

Leaders Praise the Partnership

CBF President Samir Xaud spoke about what the partnership means for Brazilian soccer. He emphasized that the collaboration goes beyond just a new shirt.

“This launch represents the union between two global symbols who share boldness, new ideas, and a love for sport,” Xaud said. “Seeing the Jumpman on our uniform highlights the cultural strength of Brazilian football and Brazil’s ability to inspire the world. We are proud of this moment and confident that this jersey will represent the energy and greatness of our National Team, both on and off the field.”

Striker Vinicius Jr., one of the current stars of the team, also shared his thoughts on the new partnership. He spoke about its impact on young players in Brazil.

“For every child in Brazil who dreams of playing soccer, this partnership means something huge,” said Vini Jr. “Jordan Brand and our National Team coming together is more than just football. It brings together culture and greatness. When the Jumpman appears next to our colors, it shows the world the creativity, passion, and energy that make Brazil special. It inspires the new generation to play with style, freedom, and pride every time we step onto the field.”

Sarah Mensah, President of Jordan Brand, expressed her excitement about the collaboration. She described it as a natural fit for the brand.

“Today, Jordan takes part in something truly special,” Mensah said. “The partnership with the Brazilian National Team is more than a collaboration. It is a celebration of the greatness, creativity, and electric energy of global soccer, with Brazil at its lively core. Where there is greatness, confidence, and the spirit of competition, Jordan belongs. It’s not simply a meeting of worlds; it’s a powerful mix where performance and expression push each other forward.”

Technology for High Performance

The new uniform is not just about looks. It is built with Aero-FIT cooling technology, designed to help players perform at their best. The fabric is made to be lightweight and breathable.

According to the CBF, the material is created from 100% textile waste. It features special mesh zones that allow more airflow between the skin and the fabric. Compared to previous materials, it is 11% lighter and offers up to 238% more breathability. This is meant to help players stay cool and dry during intense moments in a match.

The full collection also includes training gear made with the same Aero-FIT technology. In addition, a special version of the Tiempo soccer cleat was designed to match the new kit. The cleat features the Jumpman logo and the elephant print pattern seen on the uniform.

New Streetwear Collection for Fans

The partnership extends beyond the field with a new line of streetwear clothing. This collection allows fans to show their support for Brazil in everyday settings. The clothes were designed for the stands at games, the sidelines of local fields, and for wearing around town.

The streetwear line includes items such as shirts, two-tone sweatshirts, mesh shorts with a diamond pattern, and oversized tracksuits. Each piece carries Brazil’s well-known colors but presents them with the signature style of Jordan Brand.

The launch of the new uniform marks a major moment for Brazilian soccer. It brings together two respected names in sport with the goal of inspiring a new generation of players and fans.
