Coach Tanko to Stick to Playing Style as League Leaders Medeama Face Winless Eleven Wonders
Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko says his side will not abandon their playing philosophy as they prepare to face Eleven Wonders in the Ghana Premier League.
Speaking ahead of the game, Tanko emphasized that Medeama will stay true to their possession-based approach despite playing away from home.
We’re a team that tries to keep possession and play our own game. Going away will not change anything because we want to control the game and hopefully come away with maximum points or at least a point against Wonders,” Tanko said.
The league leaders will travel to the University of Ghana Stadium aiming to maintain their position at the summit of the table. Medeama have been in fine form this season, combining solid defending with effective attacking play.
Their opponents, Eleven Wonders, are still searching for their first win of the campaign. They have struggled to find consistency, and they face a tough challenge against a Medeama team full of confidence and momentum.
A victory for Tanko’s men would further strengthen their grip on top spot, while a positive result for Wonders could finally spark their season into life.
