The Ghana Football Association has formally charged Hohoe United FC for alleged breaches of the Ghana Premier League Regulations for the 2025/2026 season.

According to the GFA, Hohoe United FC is accused of violating Articles 13(1) and 34(6)(d) of the regulatory framework governing the domestic top-flight competition. The charges stem from allegations that the club withdrew from the ongoing Ghana Premier League without just cause.

The FA further indicated that the club’s conduct may have brought the game into disrepute, a serious offense under league statutes designed to uphold the integrity and reputation of Ghanaian football.

In line with disciplinary procedures, Hohoe United FC has been given until Tuesday, April 14, 2026, to respond to the charges.

The case is expected to be reviewed upon receipt of the club’s response, after which the GFA will determine the appropriate course of action in accordance with its regulations.
