Sunday’s Ghana Premier League action saw another tight contest at the UG Stadium, where Hearts of Oak played out a 0-0 draw against Berekum Chelsea.
The result means the Accra-based side has now recorded nine goalless draws this season, a trend that continues to raise concerns despite their strong position in the title race.
While Hearts of Oak remain in third place with 40 points, their inability to convert chances into goals was again evident. However, there was a bright spot in the performance of Ali Mohammed, who was named the NASCO Man of the Match for his efforts in the midfield battle.

Elsewhere, the race for the title remains intense. Medeama SC still lead the pack with 45 points after a 0-0 stalemate against FC Samartex 1996 at the Nsenkviire Sports Arena.

Goldstars SC moved up to second place following a 2-1 win over Heart of Lions in Kpando, closing the gap at the top.
Asante Kotoko also strengthened their case with a 2-0 victory over Young Apostles at the Wenchi Sports Stadium, keeping them in contention in fourth place.

Other results from the day included:
Aduana FC 0-0 Hohoe United FC
Karela United FC 2-0 Eleven Wonders FC
Basake Holy Stars FC 1-0 Swedru All Blacks FC
Nations FC 1-1 Dreams FC
With just 11 matches remaining, every point matters. The title race is well and truly on.
