Accra Hearts of Oak SC has been charged with breaching the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols, 2025, as well as the GFA Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2019.
The charges stem from an incident during their Ghana Premier League match against Young Apostles FC.
According to the GFA, Hearts of Oak allegedly allowed unaccredited individuals, including their supporters, to enter the Safe Zone to celebrate, an act deemed as misconduct that brings the game into disrepute.
The club has been given until Tuesday, March 11, 2025, to respond to the charges. Failure to do so could result in further disciplinary action from the GFA.
