The Odododiodoo constituency in Accra will come alive this Boxing Day evening with a special amateur boxing event. The event is being organized by the Constituency Member of Parliament, Hon. Alfred Kotey Ashie.

The event, called ‘The MP’s Punch’, will be held at the famous Bukom Square Park. It will start at 7pm.

The goal of the event is to find and support young, promising boxers. These talents could one day represent Ghana on the national team. The MP is organizing this in partnership with the United Coaches Association of Ghana.

Bukom Square is known as the heart of boxing in Ghana. It is the perfect place for this talent search. The event will feature amateur and juvenile boxers, giving them a chance to show their skills in front of their community and coaches.

The event is more than just sport. It is about investing in the youth and continuing Ghana’s proud boxing history. The member of Parliament hopes to give young people in his constituency a positive path and a chance to shine.

The United Coaches Association will be watching the matches closely. They will look for standout performers who could be invited for further training with national team programs.

The community is invited to come out in large numbers to support the local youth. The event promises an exciting evening of sport and community spirit, all for a great cause.
