“I Don’t Feel Any Pressure” – Osimhen Fires Warning Ahead of Morocco Showdown

Victor Osimhen has brushed aside any talk of pressure as Nigeria gear up for a high-stakes semi-final clash against host nation Morocco at the Africa Cup of Nations, insisting the Super Eagles are unfazed by the prospect of huge home crowd.

The Galatasaray striker, who has previously starred for Napoli at the highest level in European football, made it clear that playing in front of thousands of Moroccan supporters will not intimidate him or his teammates.

“The Moroccans will play in front of tens of thousands of their supporters, but many of us are used to playing in front of 80,000 or 90,000 spectators. Personally, I don’t feel any pressure, Osimhen said.”

Osimhen’s confidence is backed by his impressive form at the tournament. The Nigerian forward has already scored four goals and provided two assists, playing a central role in a Super Eagles attack that has been the most productive at this year’s AFCON.

With Nigeria chasing a place in the final for the ninth time, Osimhen is also locked in a personal battle for the top scorer gong.

He currently sits just one goal behind Morocco’s Brahim Díaz, adding another layer of intrigue to an already compelling encounter.

As Nigeria prepare to take on the Atlas Lions on their home turf, Osimhen’s message is clear: the Super Eagles are ready for the occasion, unbothered by the noise, and driven by belief as they chase continental glory once again.
